Actually, I need a masseur more than a hug. Can somebody please massage my swollen feet and my back? Oh My God, it is so tiring to be standing most of the time for eight hours. I have to cover the motorcycle section but it was so tiring to be walking all the time. I have to change the balance at the counter, and then give it back to the motorcycle rider. The manager of my station does not let me to keep the money for myself yet, so each time after the gas-filling session is done, I need to walk to the counter and pass the cash. My leg hurts because of that, please massage and I cannot sleep after work just now because it still hurts; I have never felt this kind of "tired legs" even though I have been shopping a lot with that shoes. Seriously, I think I need to buy a black and simple school shoes; that would do it.
And the smell of the gasoline is never better. I nearly throw up in the drain, and pass out maybe at the gas station. Thank god that my senior there told me to keep a bit of a distance when I collect the money from those riders. Seriously, please do not smell the gasoline, it can hurt your inner body system.
And today, I also learn about how to be a cashier. Being at the counter is so much fun, I got to greet more people and learn a lot from Kak Siti and Kak Dayang. And I met Kak Imani who worked in the evening shift today, and Shafik too. Alhamdulillah, finally I manage to make friends with people around here. Cannot wait for tomorrow, I hope that there will be more helpful staffs to guide me.
And I really love to handle the mobile top-up and Touch n Go machine, but I was a bit slow. Cannot wait for me to be handling that machine so fast, like other staffs hahaha. I was not yet allowed to learn the "cashier's machine" because I am still new, and I have to pick up the skills quickly if I want to be at the counter most of the time.
And there were people were asking for Dunhill 20s, Pall Mall this, Camel that; and I was like WHAT??? I was a bit "terkial-kial" when I was looking for the cigars, but the seniors help me to identify the boxes. I feel like so sinful for selling cigars to them as I am not a smoker, but it was such a great experience.
And before we ended our shift at 3PM, I had to count all the money, check the cigars and Primax oil stocks etc. It was Kak Dayang's work actually but she bullied asked me to learn about merchandising. And I did not even manage to eat my lunch as it was so busy in the afternoon, my mother bought it and send it to me.
And I went back at 3.15 PM, had my lunch at home, performed my Zuhur prayers and slept until 6.30PM. That was not really a good sleep as my feet are still aching until now. So tomorrow is my second day, I will update more to you guys and girls. Take care and God bless.
P/S: I feel like having fever tonight, hope that I will be okay tomorrow morning.
