War/Anonymity/Gossips

-In case you are wondering, this blog post has nothing to do with you-

tumblr
:War:
There will be no winner in a senior-junior war; there will be just claws and flaws with more fights, blood and more wars.

:Anonymous:
They are the bravest of us all in this virtual world. They live among all of us waiting for our careless mistakes and in the littlest snap of a finger they will hit the button in a totally unexpected fashion; that is their bravest reaction after all which is to hurt silently in the approved name of anonymity.

:Gossips:
Those are mostly nasty speculations based on not-so-polite facts; some are careless talks in a very casual fiction while some people think that it is just a harmless form of recreation. A gossip is venomous, it hurts and it will ruin your reputation if you do not put it to a stop, period.

:Conclusion
A gossip can cause an anonymous war because we never knew who started the rumour, and we do not know who to be aware of because we would always want to put the blame onto somebody else eventually.

Again, this has nothing to do with you ('-').

AHmazing Aziz Hazmi

Newcomers come and go in our entertainment industry; some managed to stay and prove their talents to the crowd but some could not surface that they had to go back to becoming regular again. This is not a problem to a visionary newcomer, Aziz Hazmi who is ever ready with whatever consequences waiting for him in our local TV/Film scene.
Hazmi has never craved for cheap publicity or endless controversies for fame access like some other newcomers; "Saya seorang artis yang melakukan kerja lakonan bukan artis yang mencari publisiti", which clearly defines his stand as an entertainer and no attention seeker. Kias Ramadhan (Tongkat Mustaqim episode) is his latest project which is on show next Wednesday 11 August 2012 on TV3.
Kias Ramadhan (Tongkat Mustaqim)
Wednesday, 11 August at 11 PM on TV3.
Please tune in to TV3 for Aziz Hazmi and tell me what do you think of his star as an actor okay? I am sure Hazmi is up for critics and comments right?
The Interview

***The End***

Okay, that is all for my interview with Aziz Hazmi and I wish you all the best in your career. Entertainment industry is going to be cruel to a newcomer like Hazmi but I believe that he will not fail us all. Remember Hazmi, all of us want you to surface as one of Malaysia's best actor one day so please work hard to achieve and to maintain that. I hope that you will keep your reputation clean too because that is how you are going to stay respected and admired. I am looking forward to meet Aziz Hazmi in person one day and insyaallah I would want to work/cooperate with him in a project one day.

Take care and God bless AHmazing Hazmi!

The Glamorous Teacher

If there is a person who deserves to be featured in a magazine it would be her, Yang Mulia Datin Dr. Raja Mazuin Bt. Raja Abdul Aziz; a senior lecturer in IPG Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa, a loyal wife, an avid mother figure plus a fashionista in Kuala Lumpur. She has never grown older even in her fifties and in fact I believe that her life cycle runs backward that she is growing younger every other day. Perhaps it is her big personality and her humble appearance that preserve her beauty even though she is officially a granny already.
Majalah Wanita, July 2012.
"I never really read the articles, as long as my photos are good then I am okay already", she told us after we saw the article of her in Majalah Harmoni two years ago. That was just her being her; funny, energetic and as an educationist she has all great ideas about our education system. "If I could change something to improve the current education system, I would allow lecturers with PhDs to teach primary schools because they are equipped with the know-how and techniques to teach young children through proper methods",(Malaysia Tatler, 2012).

Social Studies Exhibition, 2009.
As a lecturer in IPG KBA, she has assisted many young educators in Malaysia especially in the Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL) in Malaysia. I am very honoured to have been under her supervision for Social Studies course during my Foundation in TESL along with my own lecturer Madam Ann Anuradah because both lecturers are very knowledgeable with the subject. Many would say that she is strict especially on teaching practicum but all she wants is for these teachers to excel and that is how she equips them with the challenges in teaching profession.
Dr. Raja Mazuin and  Rizal Sadiman
Yang Mulia Datin Dr. Raja Mazuin is easily approachable by students despite her status as a wife to Dato' Zaharudin Mohd Ali and that is her recipe of success. There is no need for her to put up a snob face in college even if she is a Datin, and that is seriously something that I need to learn from her.
B. Ed TESL IPG KBA-UPM Farewell Party.
She is a really talented singer and dancer too because she inherited her talent from the blood of Negeri Sembilan royal family. I adore her for choosing teaching profession as a lifetime career and not anything else, and if there is anybody I would like to be one day then it would be her; a stylish English language teacher who is never tired of preaching our Malaysians about the importance of English in life. Some can call me perosak bahasa kebangsaan but I don't care anymore because my notion is noble which is to see more Malaysians acquiring the language. Now in less than 100 words, please write to me about the teacher or a lecturer who has influenced your life in making you a human being right now?

P/S: Read the article of Yang Mulia Datin Dr. Raja Mazuin on Malaysia Tatler and get July 2012 edition of Majalah Wanita to read more about her okay ;)

Dream of a Dream

:This is very personal:

Everybody has his or her own favourite family member; like the mother who prioritizes her only son with an endless cash or the father who calls his favourite daughter everyday even when she has a family of her own. Yes, each one of us practices favouritism but nobody is willing to admit it because denial is the kind of game that we play every other day.

Think about it very deeply; who is the first person you call whenever you miss your home the most? Who has that shoulder for you to cry on and to tell every little stories of your own? Yes, that particular person who crosses your mind right now is the person of your favourite. As for myself, my favourite person in my family is no longer living but I believe that she is taking care of me from above the clouds.

This is my late grandmother, Che Mah Binti Awang who passed away two years ago on the 7th day of Ramadhan; I had no chance to talk and visit her at the hospital because I was in college and up until now I am still hating myself for that. She was my safety blanket at night when I was small, the shoulder that I could cry on and the person who is never tired of my over-sensitivity. Yes, we were very close that I knew my mother did not quite like it since I put on importance on my grandmother. I thought that my grandmother would live with me forever but death really do us a part.

Two years pass by and I am still pouring my emotions to my grandmother in my prayers because I know that she would always listen. Sometimes when I really need her so bad, she would come at night in all sorts of beautiful dreams with her comforting smile and the face that I wish to stay forever. Our conversation would always feel so real, her rough hands but an honest touch and those were no ordinary dreams; she is happy up there and is willing to stay inside my mind until I am ready to let go.

But she rarely comes into my mind these days; I have not dreamt of her for few months and I could no longer see my favourite face. Maybe she thought that I should face the music like a grown up kid already, so she has moved on with her life and observing only from afar? Every night in my dream I wish that I would dream another dream with her, just a chance to say "I'm sorry, I love you Tok, I will brave up with my life and I hope to see you soon", just that.
**********
Dreaming about a person who is no longer living is actually a message to the dreamer that he or she has an unresolved conflict or desire to that particular person being dreamed about. Like myself, I have this guilt in me for not being able to be by my grandmother's side on her last day on earth so the emotion is being carried into my sleep. This dream will continue until the dreamer is ready to let go of the guilt or any other feelings bothering him/her at night.

Sometimes a dream could be a message about what a person wants to achieve but it is so hard to accomplish that it stays as a dream, and this is actually based on my reading. I had one dreamt of becoming a Parliament Member of my home town, which is actually telling me that I really want to be a leader but I am too afraid to stand up for it. Now tell me in less than 100 words about the weirdest dream you have had and your own interpretation of that dream? You could always check with the "tafsiran mimpi" on Google or any other reliable sources okay.

Blessings & Babies

My cousin, Athirah Damia.
Every child is born as a blessing to the family; too many child means too many blessings in the family. Too many blessings sometimes is not healthy to the family, because too many child means too many mouth that the parents need to feed.
**********
Before starting up a family, make sure that you are stable financially and emotionally because marriage life is not easy. Few of my friends get married at a very young age; a TESL classmate is blessed with a TESL baby at 21 years old, and another classmate will be tying the knot insyallah. The choices that they have made has affected their future in a good and bad way but I know that they are able to go through it.
Imran, Amir Arsyad and Alia.
Well, not everybody is blessed with a child especially when the women cannot get pregnant, so please take that duty very responsibly. Please be careful parents; do not over-protect your children and include them in decision making as well. Over-protected kids tend to grow up as spoil brats that they cannot make decisions on their own. However when some kids are left too freely with their world they will end up having no boundary in life too so my advice is for parents to be modest in parenting their children.

To Muhammad Amir Arsyad, please be good to your parents and if your parents are angry with you just call me; I am your TESL Uncle and I will surely back you up hahaha (spoiling the baby).

P/S: Some people do not deserve to be the parents the same as some children do not deserve to be their children right? Now in less than 100 words please tell me what is your opinion about early marriages among teenagers?

Dirty Little Laundry

:Background Music:
Perfect-Simple Plan

Every family has a basket of dirty little laundry; like the parents who play the "parent card" only to find their children's fault or the kids who undeniably hate their bearers but are stuck with them until they are gone. Yes, each family have their own sets of secrets but there are those who decide to air their dirty linen in public loud and proud; like the children who submit their parents to the nursery homes as they grow older. It is real in our society but some of us are still "home-schooling" our parents because of religion's obligation; even when the children thought that taking them away is the best option to parent their parents. Sometimes some people make a rebel of their careless parents, and you will see because some people talk but they never really knew.

Now, in this holy month of Ramadhan, write me in less than 100 words about the children who have left their parents at old folks home when they are busy busying themselves in the city.

Superheroes/Superhumans

:Attention:
This blog post is full of Power Rangers GIFs.

Everybody has a childhood superhero-either a Spiderman suit up in a tight red and blue costume or a father figure like a Superman who drives away to work; the point is we all have a SUPERHERO deep within our souls.

Mine is Power Rangers Turbo and Blue Ranger is always my favorite; oh yeah that's me in the GIF. Power Rangers was a phenomenon since 1993 when it was aired in Malaysia until the popularity gradually decreased since other superheroes took over our TV, obviously.

My childhood was awesome; I became a universe-saver teaming up with my friends desperately trying to save the day in our own imaginary world. Some rich kids would have their own collection of Megazords and Power Rangers figurines but all I had was just a Blue Ranger Mask with a sword bought at a night market. Those were the happiest days of my life but right now I have a busy day trying to save the world in my own way too.

Well I believe that each one of us is a superhero to oneself and most of the times we influence others with our heroic actions. Like working fathers and mothers who go out of the house very early in the morning; all of them wish to come home before the sun but most of the time they can't.

So for those who feel that they are worthless or empty, believe me that there is an "S" on our chest; we are the SUPERHEROES and SUPERHUMANS of the earth. Now tell me WHO is your superhero alter-ego and WHY in less then few thousand words?

On/Off The Screen

We all have a song, TV series or movies that we could always relate to ourselves and our stories. The lyrics, the lines and the sentences sometimes fit perfectly to your memories that you felt they are just made for all of you. There are also the characters that actually resemble everybody on earth; the good, the bad and the ugly truth about each one of us, On and Off the screen.

**********
American TV series/movies really appeal to my interest; they have a clear storyline, a strong message and most actors and actresses play their characters very well that sometimes they do not know what is real and what is superficial any more. So far I have cried while watching The Big C and Desperate Housewives plus some other movies, especially when the characters deal with family matters and friendship. It is not something to be ashamed of; a guy can as well be carried away with his emotions because some great stories deserve relative responses like a standing ovation, a round of applause or as magical as some tears.

Malaysian products didn't quite disappoint me though; good movies like Cun and Kami The Movie managed to touch my heart so thumbs up! Now here's a challenge to all Malaysian film-makers; if you can make me who is very sceptical about local films cry, then you own my recognition ;)

Lose Tonight Music Video

Lose Tonight by Azwan Juperi
Lyrics- Azham Vsvc

Here I'm standing in the dark,
when no one's here to watch me,
And I strum the strings,
a sombre heart is dancing in a beat.
Don't know where on earth I've been?
Was I lost dumb and stupid?
To let them see or hear,
what they wanna see and hear from me?

Your words will never stop me,
cause no one's here
To hear me sing a happy song tonight.

c/o:
Whatever you say that I am,
Whatever words to describe my songs,
Won't ever break, make me weep or stop singing tonight.
Yeah it is tonight, LA LA DOO DOO DOO DOO,
Let me finish this, you will lose tonight.

Yeah you're not winning again,
Cause I won't change my mind,
I'm not afraid
To fight you and your loud commenting crowd.
Put your hearing ears just listen,
this is my only moment,
To fill the streets,
with the smiles above the ground.

***********

Alhamdulillah, I have just finished my first collaboration with Azwan Juperi; I contributed the lyrics for this great melody played by an uprising singer Azwan Juperi or AJ. I met AJ right after the finale of Pencarian Remaja Berbakat Media Hiburan and we discuss on Facebook about his music career.

Please welcome AJ, a Sarawakian singer based in Kuala Lumpur who has been making music right from his bedroom into our music industry. AJ will be signing up a contract with Suria Records soon so he is in a process of collecting materials for his album. Azwan Juperi can be reached for show invitations and interviews via

Facebook: Azwan Juperi
Twitter: @AzwanJuperi

Enjoy the unofficial music video of "Lose Tonight" and once the single has been recorded then I will share it here. Please rate and comment this song so that both of us could improve ourselves for the next collaboration insyaallah.

P/S: I am so glad that our first project went well and I am more than happy to be a part of a great production. By the way, I am now a lyricist, thanks to Azwan Juperi ;)

Ghostly Building

There is a ghost story behind every old and new building; like in this ancient university in the suburbia with history dated back since something something, but the most ghostly creatures of all are the ghosts amongst all of us.

Yes, the men and women who desperately sneak into each others room in the residential college at night to test their sexual prowess; the thieves and bandits in all forms of students and officers who tarnish the building with all sorts of extra-curricular activities. Yes! We are the GHOSTS that we fear too much with our ghostly rituals all over the varsity.

Religious Religion

We have all done things in our lives that we are not proud of; some gave sex to the wrong man, some did not get love from the right woman. There are those who have humiliated their parents and those who have failed their children; YES we have all made mistakes but there is redemption if we try to learn from those mistakes and grow.

Sadly, some keep on playing house in the ruins of a religion while some go to the mosque to be a better person. The good news is God will always hear and answer our prayer but the bad news is sometimes the answer is NO.

Die, Dying

We are all going to die; some died a tragic suicide while some are road-kills in a crazy car crash. Some lead a lonely life that they had such a lonely death; even when they died they cried deeply at heart. Some lost their life to the poor judgment of the society; some died faking their death they actually died trying.

All I am trying to say here is that we are all going to die anyway, sooner or later. I am not ready; even though I actually die every other day I am still not ready.

Big Cars, and Big Rides

Many of my friends are getting their own cars while I am just an avid rider of public transportation and the loyal user of my parents' cars. No, I am not jealous with them although this is the new millennium's kind of peer pressure from my course mates; and I will never be such a jello unless I get my own SUV one day. And by SUV I mean big cars and big rides which I will try to purchase one day insyaallah ;)

*****

Tell me how many of your friends in college or university who have got their own cars already? Well, many of my course mates have had this luxury of driving their own cars to the faculty, which is a good thing because they will always let other friends to carpool as well. They share their money for travel expenses such as fuel, toll, and car maintenance together; sometimes when it rains in Serdang they will come and pick me up at my residential college.

When I had to go out to Kuala Lumpur for work purposes especially attending events, shopping or food hunting, I would always rent the car for few hours with some other friends for our convenience. Sometimes when I feel like showing off to the public pretending like I am such a rich kid, I rent my friend's Proton Waja, the next day is another friend's Perodua MyVi or to be minimal at times I borrow another friend's Perodua Kancil and drive around town.

See...I am definitely not jealous of my friend's rezki and in fact I am making full use of their blessings. I really hope that more and more of my friends would get their own cars soon so that I would have a wider range of cars to select, maybe a different car for each day in a week? Can you spot the humor/sarcasm here because I am not jealous at all, believe me.

Astro On-The-Go Poolside Party

Good day everybody! This is a delayed blog post of Astro On-The-Go Party held at The Pool, Jalan Ampang on 23rd June 2012.

The dress code was our favorite football jersey in conjunction with Euro 2012 and we gathered there at 6.30 PM with other bloggers and Nuffnangers!

The Pool is a really cool place to hang out with friends and it can accommodate more than 100 guests based on my observation.

I went there with Anam Khazali, a friend of mine since 2004 but we rarely meet after both of us further our studies in different universities.

There, we were served with a free-flow of drinks such as Pepsi, Sprite and Coke and the service was super fast! We did not have to wait for a long time to get our drinks refilled, really!

At about 7 PM Adam C kick-started the best Astro On-The-Go Party to the media. Astro On-The-Go is the latest innovative service by Astro where we get to watch Astro channels on our iPads, iPhones and also our laptops anywhere on earth when we are on the go! Our next agenda after the briefing of Astro On-The-Go is EATING! Yeay, Astro is very generous for throwing such a happening poolside party inclusive of tantalizing buffet that I could not miss! Seriously, I totally had a lot of Chicken Cordon Blue, spaghetti, salad, and many more mouth-watering delicacies!

Next up is the first ever synchronized iPad flash-mob and the team would be on-the-go all over the town so look out for them alright?

This is what the sync iPad flash-mob would look like, a giant TV screen made up of iPads hehe. (Photo credits to Joel Wong).

The Pool is so cool right? I love this place so much at night! Okay, after dinner Adam C called us to make a team of 5 since there was a special game for the bloggers. I teamed up with Red Mummy, Cik Lily Putih and the other two guys and we are Team Denmark!

There were three stations that night and we had to juggle a ball for 30 seconds, posed in front of the camera with the task given and also searched for the flag of our team, which was Team Denmark.

Each team also had to compete other teams in the Foosball Challenge but too bad Team Denmark lost to Team Spain but we had fun!

After the game ended, Adam C announced the winner of the game and Team Germany won! Then Adam also called out 5 contestants for the Best Dress Award! Yeah, since they were all glamorously attired in their football jersey, plus with make up and wigs on, they really deserve to be the finalists! They had to catwalk on the runway and Red Mummy was announced as the winner of the brand new iPad III!

I totally had a blast at Astro On-The-Go Poolside Party eating a lot and spreading my circles to all social media influencers, alhamdulillah! Special thanks to Astro and Nuffnang for inviting Azham Vsvc/The Socialite to your happening party!

Oh yeah, before I headed home, I took a photo with my idol in TV hosting industry, Mr Adam C! That was the third time I met him and he was very down to earth and sweet to everybody. One day I would like to work in Astro as a journalist/TV presenter like him, insyaallah!

Dear my blog readers, kindly register with Astro On-The-Go especially when you are already an existing Astro subsribers. You have your favorite channels now on iPads, iPhones and laptops so why waste this golden service right? Oh yeah, I am in a dire need of a brand new iPad III too because I do not want to miss the chance watching MTV and Channel V on my private jet when I am On-The-Go ;)

This is the TV advertisement of Astro On-The-Go, more information on www.astro.com.my/onthego
