Breakfast @ Meals Station

-This is a delayed post, it should have been up few weeks ago but I missed it-

Location: KL Sentral

Finally, semester 2 for Year 1 degree ends gloriously and I went back to Kepala Batas Pulau Pinang on Saturday morning, January 14th 2012. Yeah, it was seriously an "up and down" journey for myself and my friends as we struggled due to our tight class schedule from 8 AM until 4 PM (sometimes) and the final examination as well. Now I am spending the best of time for a month of semester break but still nervous of last semester's examination result!

Jaazli and Alexs accompanied me to bid farewell at KL Sentral because my train is scheduled at 8.45 AM so we had our breakfast at Meals Station to kill the time. They helped to carry my luggage (a big back-pack, a laptop bag, one over-sized luggage bag and a massive recycling bag with heavy items in it) as KTM Intercity offers a large luggage area for me with no extra charge!

We had "Breakfast Meals" at Meals Station for only RM 5.90 each and it comes with supplementary coffee as well. You guys and girls can select variants of:

nasi lemak,

toasts & sandwiches,

or bread with half-boiled eggs. Then choose your own beverages, be it the original white coffee,

or the classic coffee O'.

For further information regarding the menu and its branch around Kuala Lumpur, log on to their official website at http://mealsstation.com.my. To all Muslims, no worries because this restaurant is certified HALAL plus it offers delivery services as well! Opens 24 hours at KL Sentral, this "meal station" deliberately offers the most popular and accepted Malaysian delicacies that suit the taste buds of Malaysians at a totally reasonable price.

After breakfast, it was time for all of us to lead our separate ways and enjoy the holiday! I purposely took the day trip to Butterworth Train Station this time because I would like to experience a different journey. It costs me only RM 34 for a seat in a Sitting Coach plus it is safer than travelling with a bus!

When I bought the train ticket, I asked the officer at the counter to put me at the front seat of the coach because there is a LARGER space to put my luggage there plus I can keep my eyes on them. See, those are my luggages okay! I can also watch the movie clearly as the screen is directly before my eyes and they view Harry Potter's Goblet of Fire that day.

The journey took 7 safe hours and I can walk to the Buffet Coach to grab my lunch, and even go to the toilet frequently! Yes, I am the type of person who needs to check into the toilet most of the time because I have a weak bladder (lemah pundi kencing) my mum told me! Alhamdulillah, I arrived Penang at 5PM and my mother was already there to fetch this Tengku home (perasan!).

Check this link because I am promoting another unique way to tour Malaysia via http://ktmintercity.com.my. It is cheap, much safer plus it has mobile toilets!
