Alhamdulillah, I woke up this morning with a surprising text from a friend and I cannot stop smiling; such a blessing Ya Allah.
"Hey did you post your stories on receiptstories.my because your story is printed on my receipt okay! Congrats!".
(Mr. Ji Mie, 2012)
Okay, I admit that I wrote a few RECEIPT STORIES couple of weeks back and never imagined that they would be chosen. I thought that maybe somebody out there is reading my story on the receipt for their purchase at BookXcess, and it happened.

BookXcess, at Level 3,
Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.
Yeah...ever heard of BookXcess yet? It is one of the coolest book store which sells various reading materials for toddlers, kids, teenagers, and adults for all walks of life sold at a very cheap price! I bought my first novel "Lemony Snickett: A Series of Unfortunate Event" for only RM 5 and the book is still in a good condition!

My friends frequent this bookstore to get their favorite books from Sophie Kinsella, Dan Brown and many more notorious writers. Now I feel like going back to Kuala Lumpur and tag along my friends to visit BookXcess, just for the sake of seeing my stories on the receipt. Yeap, the stories chosen (which the writers themselves share on the website) will be printed on the receipt with hopes to provide a platform for writers to expand their circle. I have six stories that are published on the web so far so please take a red:
Most of them are poems and stories that I took from my own blog, so that explains the familiarity okay? I would like to promote this site, http://www.receiptstories.my to you guys and girls. Try your luck, write your own receipt stories and who knows somebody out there would be fascinated! Describe your stories best in less than 100 words and get your friends to view and LIKE your stories. That is all my ranting for today, good luck with your own receipt stories okay?
