:Based on a true story:
There are juniors in my college who are undecided about almost everything; they don't even know why they are here in this teaching institution. Some may live, eat and sleep in English but some are just forced by their parents to be a teacher. Some of the freshmen are dying to become the next English language educator but some just could not care less. What they care is the allowances they receive every month (or semester for degree students) and that's it.
No, I am not talking like I am better than anybody else; I am writing based on a senior's point of view. I heard complaints from the lecturers that the juniors who are just in Semester 2 Foundation Course have started skipping classes and even missed the due date of the assignment. Some have to repeat their examination and redo the coursework, which I think is absurd because all of us are given ample time and knowledge to complete everything.
Come on, all of us are sponsored to study and that is not hard to accomplish. Think about those who are not even called for the interview to further their studies in this teacher training institute, who would die to grab the chance like ours? This saddening scenery makes me ponder about the lack of quality in Malaysian education system, with regards of poor performance by the teachers as well. It is possible that one day nobody goes to public schools anymore, and parents in few more years would depend on private schools and tuition centers to educate their children.
Now I would like to persuade, urge and encourage all teachers-to-be to come back to the real meaning of teaching--that teaching starts within you! If you cannot teach yourself to fulfill the Philosophy of Teacher Education (Falsafah Pendidikan Guru), maybe this is not the place you are supposed to be. Please do not risk the future of Malaysian kids and yourself; what's done is done and you have already signed the agreement so groom yourself to be a truly excellent teacher.
I know some of you would think of me like "Who are you tell us this?" but I need to "wake up" my friends and juniors who have been sleeping for too long. Rise and shine, smell the coffee because you are not taking Bachelor of Education in Sarcasm; you are hand-picked to serve the country as Malaysia's Next Top Educators! Remember, let nobody made fun of teachers and clear the misconception everybody has upon us! Good luck everybody, bring back society's trust in the education system.

Kalau tak nak jadi cikgu, lain kali tak payah apply maktab dari awal lagi. *emo tetibe*
students nowadays should be grateful that they were given that huge opportunity to study in teaching institutions and to be a future academician of next malaysians generation. shouldn't waste government money on ppl who dont care to study hard. huh.

rugi x guna peluang jd ckgu ni dengan baik.. cikgu ni root kepada mcm2 orang yang bakal brjaya nanti.. salah ajar nya, truk la budak tu
agree with you..they always complaining when their allowance doesn't come in their pocket right on time but do they really care about their result which doesn't even nearly reach the standard? kadang2 bengang gak aq tengok..mengalahkan senior =.="
Izat: kesian tgk budak2 tu...pandai...tapi malas je..sayangnya....
Ash: hurm, I agree with you bro! The gov has spent more than millions every year so please pay back by being a truly obedient teachers-to-be...hurm...something to ponder....
great info azham.....keep it up...p/s alaina
A very good entry. I noticed so many people complain about allowances, facilities and whatsoever. Think about what they have contributed to the campus? Anything? No. The true meaning of teaching is barely undrstood by some of us which makes it pathetic. Yes! so many people outthere want their spots (realize this you CRYBABY TECHER-TO-BE in campus! Anyone!)if u are not grateful of what Allah has given to u, quit the institution. We dont need such slackery babies. Thanks azham for bringing this up
Zuan: kan kan kan? bukan senang nak masuk maktab ni...rugi kalau tak gunakan sebaiknya....huhuhuhuhuhu
Airil: wah...JPP sudah mula bersuara hehe...thanks for your support dude! What you mentioned is true, tgklah kat FB Group IPBA tu...semua kecoh pasal elaun je...belajar tak seberapa huhuhuhuhu
so true bro.. some of them demand baucer buku some more.. i mean, hell, no! u're paid to study and u ask for more?
if u're in foundation, i think rm400 (foundie allowance) would suffice..
and how abt those is degree year? rm620 (ipba) + rm800 (book allowance for a year) is enough if u really spend it for study (ONLY) or maybe tiket balik kampung..
if they think the allowance is not enough and ready to rage, go ahead.. let's see if they really stand up for a solid reason.. but dun ever dare to skip classes.. malaysians pay u to attend classes and study hard..

urmm..blom jdi ckgu dah prangai mcm tu, klu jadi ckgu nti mcm mana la,.
kalau time study pun tak berapa nak bersungguh2, bayangkan bila jadi cikgu nanti. mungkin yang jadi macam ni sebab terpaksa. bila rasa terpaksa, mesti la buat halai balai je.
it's either u do what u love or u learn to love what u do. if not, u're just gonna feel miserable.
eh terbuat karangan lak! haha.
Sedih baca entry ko.bukan calang calang tanggungjawab utk jd guru, cikgu, sifu, lecturer.tu la yg bentuk generasi kita.tetiba aku risau sama mcm ko.
Weh.teharu ko baca entry lama lama.
Muda belia...aauuwww..jgn la ckp kuat kuat.kitrg pemalu tau.ahhahahahaha....gurau je
oh myyy. this is so trueee indeed. sedihhh tau bila tengok ada yg mcm mensia-siakan peluang yg telah diberikan kpd mereka.
masa awal2 masuk dulu, ada juga rasa x best la belajar jd guru tp lama kelamaan bila sudah jumpa budak2 lg, perasaan tu hilang. dah rasa terbina semangat nak mendidik mereka. moga2 perasaan ini berkekalan dengan izin Allah. :')
what i can say is they are SOO UNGRATEFUL...they want to be up-to-date in fashions, and hairstyles yet their minds are still NARROW...that's sad...
Fakhri: hehe, silalah ambil...jgn lupa bagi kredit kt sini hehehe
Izzul: kalau rasa termasuk dlm kategori tu, marilah kita sama2 berubah heheheh
Aini: hehe, segelintir sahaja ni... moga mereka yang tersasar ni cpt2 sedar heheheh
Rozeeta: hehe, rasanya sbb terpaksa mangikut telunjuk ibu bapa lah tu...tak apa, doakan mereka dapat berubah heheheheh
Hanie: hehe, guru sebenarnya yg menjadikan anak bangsa, di samping ibu bapa... hehe, baguslah kalau Hanie ada kesedaran macam tu hehe
Kayun: hehe, sedih sgt rasanya...semoga kita yang memang minat untuk menjadi guru ni dapat jadikan iktibar kisah mereka ni huhuhuhuhh
terharuuu..betul2 ! sangat sokong ... lagi-lagi pasal elaun..kerajaan baik sgt bagi elaun utk kite..lepastu bile dpat lmbat ade plak satu institut nie simbah office diorg dgn minyak hitam..haish..macam itu ke perangai cikgu yang patut diteladani ?
Elle: right? Bila elaun keluar ramai je berderet pergi Mid Valley...apa salahnya kalau beratur pergi kelas hehehehe
Fawa: serious ada org buat mcm tu? hurm..sedihnya...tu baru pasal elaun.....
