Random Pictures: Pantai Bersih

Hey guys and girls. I want to update about my so-called road trip to Pantai Bersih, Butterworth Pulau Pinang this evening. Well, I have been wondering about the name for so long. Is Pantai Bersih really clean because it was not that clean when I came here the last time. Sorry Penangits but I am just being honest here.

Hurm, so far I can see the differences made by the authorities and the people who are concerned. There are less trash and less "maksiat" here but maybe I came there in the evening? Not to be judgmental or prejudice here but that is the truth. Pantai Bersih and the beaches nearby used to be famous for the "sexual activities" being carried out in the cars and "celah-celah batu" oops! (parents discretion is advised).

This place has become more organized and beautiful for me. There are lots of stalls here as well so food is no problem. Just bring your whole family here to enjoy the serenity of Butterworth's beach, Pantai Bersih.

I am not sure about the water quality here but I think it is quite okay. There were kids swimming in the sea though, and they can reach Penang island if they swim further (exaggerating!).

Okay, ignore my painting. I have never mastered drawing since I was in kindergarten so blame me for this ugly-looking art. Even I cannot draw properly using the Microsoft Paint software. What a shame for a teacher-to-be, but the painting is cute right? Hahahaha, Afiq and Merazati, don't laugh at me....

Thanks to my dad's car, PJX 15** for being a great companion and my mum for sponsoring the gas! Yuhuu but, I am going to miss the car once I leave for Kuala Lumpur next week. Take care Paris (it's a girl, seriously. Look at it's eyelids at the head lights there!).

More blog updates coming, stay tuned!

Random Pictures: Penang is HOT!

Salam guys and girls. Today I would like to share about the weather and atmosphere in Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang. People, (Diba and Nebai) have been talking that Labis, Johor is badly hit with flash flood but here in Penang, it is so warm! Trust me, the weather can burn your skin to your bone until you are left fleshless (okay, exaggerating!).

See how bad the flood in Labis is, credit to all models! This image here belongs to Nabilah Syahira a.k.a Nebai.

.:Penang, February 1st 2011:.

See the sun people, I bet Johorians haven't seen the sun for days right? The sun shines here, in the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia.

Wow, now I know why people are so engrossed with "padi menguning". You see, the paddy plants have turned yellow!

This picture is taken while I was driving at a place called Penaga. Ever heard of this place?

I am so lucky to have my parents being transferred to Kepala Batas though I would love it if they can move to the island part of Pulau Pinang. Yes, that would be even better for me but it's okay, it's alright, Kepala Batas is fine!

Well people, come and visit Pulau Pinang one day. I also have to explore more about this state so that I can bring anyone of you here. More blog updates after this, see you guys and girls later.

Random Pictures: Empangan Mengkuang

Hi guys and girls. I would like to share about the activity I had yesterday. My mother gave me full access to the car plus she sponsored the gas so I headed to Kulim, Kedah. My original plan was to meet Hema Sandragesan, my TESL class mates but I cancelled it because it was quite last minute for both of us.

Just a little information about the place my family is residing now, Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang. This place is near to everywhere; Sungai Petani and Butterworth is just half an hour drive from my house (Sungai Petani in the north and Butterworth is in the south part). I can reach my hometown, Baling Kedah in 45 minutes time and I just discovered that I can go to Kulim Kedah from my place.

So I went to Kulim yesterday, following the routes that I have never explored. Trust me that I do not have a specific place to go yesterday so it was all random. And on my way back from Kulim, I discovered that Bukit Mertajam has its own dam (empangan) ! Wow, this is freaking fantastic! Then I stopped by for a minute and took some pictures because it was quite late in the evening already.

Look at the scenery. It looks like in overseas for me.

This is the dam and for me, I am impressed by the size of the dam. I have never thought that Penang has its own dam. Wow, I have so much to treasure about Penang!

There were people jogging here yesterday. I was not in my proper suit so I decided to just take a walk. Lovely place I would say!

It is a beautiful place right? I can't wait to go there again next time. Going to barbecue food there! Yeah! I love it when I do unexpected and random things!
So I guess that is the end of it, wait for more blog updates! Love everyone!

P/S: I have started to love Penang, so many to explore next time!
