Tour Eid Mubarak: 1st Avenue, Penang

Salam guys and girls, how is your second day of Syawal? Did you collect a lot of duit raya or just catching up stories with your friends? Well today, Anam and I went to 1st Avenue Penang as we don't have any plan to visit our friends at all. He picked me up at Bertam Perdana and we headed straight to the island.

This is my best friend forever, Khairul Anam and we have been friends since 2004; we were in the same class in Form 1. It has been quite a long time already, 8 years plus together and I hope this friendship will not sink at all.

Thank goodness that the traffic in Penang was not jam at all; we managed to reach there in less than an hour. Anam went shopping at Cotton On and I just window shop as I am on a tight budget now.

Then we watched Final Destination 5 at TGV Cinemas there; trust me that the cinema is awesome! It has this waiting seats near the counter for us to sit while waiting for our movies, and the couple seats are sold at only RM 14! That is so damn cheap compared to couple seats in cinemas near Kuala Lumpur! I know I sounds so noob now but I am so excited! We got to watch the movie at a better view, the seat is so comfy and we are not couples okay!

The movie is not so cool. Lot's of blood and disgusting death but the acting slacks a little bit. The actors need to be coached more on facial expressions and body language. The ending of the movie is quite expected and so far, I like the first, second and third FD movies only; the fifth movie is quite boring, honestly.

After the movie ended, we head back to the mainland and had McDonald's as our dinner. Anam drove back to Baling, Kedah and we are meeting our friends tomorrow for 5S2's Reunion! Can't wait, I hope there will be many friends joining. I guess that is all for today, take care and God bless people!

Tour Eid Mubarak

Salam guys and girls! Had the best time of your life celebrating raya with family members and friends? I had a blast yesterday, toured all around Baling, Kedah Darul Aman on the first day of Syawal and meet up with my friends there! We ate a lot and forgot to take a lot of pictures.

This is my friend Majdi and he likes kuih cornflakes.

This is Linda, someone that I can see Liyana Jasmay inside her or her in LJ's body I don't know ;)

This is our driver, Anam Khazali with his new baby Savvy!

Well, we went to Che Nor Afizah's house because she is the most kepochi of all. However, her house were badly hit by the flood a day before hari raya and her family had to clean up the house on raya's eve, poor them. I love the jeruk buah salak at her house, it was so NICE though! SO NICE! Then we went to Cikgu Aishah's house but she was not at home. We headed to Linda's house, pick her up and went to Achik's house yuhoo!

This is Achik a.k.a Hamidah and the laksa at her house was so damn good, seriously!

Then Anis came to the scene to heat up the celebration; we asked about her condition when she was in Egypt during the riot few months back. So far, Anis is the most successful among us as she studies in the University of Zagazig to become a doctor one day. Congrats Anis!

We chatted and cam-whored at Achik's house like we own it! I love the rempeyek she made too, so crunchy and spicy!

Sorry that I look so messy in this picture! I sweat a lot but I don't care because raya is just celebrated once in a year.

I can't wait for our 5S2 reunion tomorrow but I am still hoping that more of them will turn up. I haven't seen some of them for almost 3 years, I know we have a lot to talk about. Insyaallah, everything will be good tomorrow.

Eid Mubarak 2011

Salam guys and girls, how is your first day of raya going? My family and I went for "solat sunat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri" at Surau IPD Daerah Seberang Perai Utara as it was compulsory for all police to attend it. Then we had a bit of "jamuan hari raya" there and I ate a lot of lemang which is my favorite.

After my family had a session of photography and "bermaaf-maafan", we all started to get visitors from our neighborhood, mostly kids. I asked "Nak makan atau duit raya jer?" because I expected that they all wanted to collect duit raya only. However, they were quite tired of going all around the world to collect duit raya and wanted to eat and drink as well.

Then I served raya cookies, ketupat and lemang and gave them duit raya because my parents went out already at that time. After Zuhur, my sister and I decided to leave the house as well because we have promised to visit my friends in Baling Kedah. I will write more about it in my next post, wait anxiously people! Take care and God bless, Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri!

P/S: Try to count the repetition of the word raya in this post.

Raya 2011

I couldn't be more excited when the news on TV said that tomorrow is officially raya! Well, my friends have invited me to visit their house though some of them are affected with the flood in Baling, Kedah. Poor them, all their raya preparations were affected by the gushing flood that struck after four hours of heavy rains.

All I want to say here is that, there are other people who cannot enjoy their raya this year. There are families who had lost their family members in road crashes and many more unexpected events in their life. Let us ponder for two minutes about how lucky we are for having the chance to celebrate raya this year. Please do not waste the chances given by our God okay?

To those who are driving back to your hometown, please drive carefully. Do not rush or drive when you are tired okay? Let us celebrate this raya modestly, there is nothing wrong with toning down our joy a bit to respect those who are not so blessed with happiness and wealth. I hope that we can all meet another chance to fast again next year! Take care and God bless.

Happy Eid Mubarak everyone!
Maaf Zahir dan batin.

Happy Eid Mubarak

Hi guys and girls, how is your "raya" preparation coming along? I hope that all of you manage to get it all done before the first day of Syawal. As for me, I will try to celebrate Eid Mubarak this year modestly due to some reasons that only I know.

Well, I am more excited to go back to my college and start fresh with my studies. I have had enough rest this semester break and will be going to Portsmouth University of Malaysia, UPM on the 6th of September for the orientation week. *dang!

My family will be celebrating Eid at our house in Kepala Batas, Penang so feel free to drop by at my place. If you guys and girls would like to come, please ring me first to make sure I am at home to serve you better. PM me on Facebook to get my phone number and adresss. It will be such a pleasure for me to have my blogging friends at my house, honestly.

We have some kueh raya bought from Pekan Rabu, Alor Star, and ketupat palas ordered from our relatives. We do not make raya cookies and since my grandmother passed away, nobody takes over her job to make ketupat palas; we all did not take the chance to learn it and we regret it so bad.

Okay, enough of my sad story. On the first day of raya, I will be going back to visit my grandmother's grave in Baling, Kedah and then only I will meet my friends there. I will be free on the second day of raya but not on the third because I have a reunion with my former 5S2 class mates. Then I am free, and free and free, and on the sixth I will head back to Kuala Lumpur.

I would like to wish all my blogging friends, Love Hate readers and followers a Happy Eid Mubarak. Think of the less fortunate while you are celebrating it, the orphans who never have a perfect celebration with their loved ones, those in Somalia who have never get a proper meal, and me who has never get enough duit raya ;)

Wait, I am quite disapointed with my Baju Melayu this year; the tailor made is so big even though I have told him to fit it perfectly on my body. Sigh! But when I come to think about it, I am still lucky to have a new Baju Melayu as some others don't. So dear bloggers, do not complain like me, I am such a bad role model hahaha.

"Selamat Menyambut Aidil Fitri,
Maaf Zahir Batin dari Encik Azham Vosovic"

Salam Perantauan

Salam Aidil Fitri to all bloggers, friends and lecturers.

Adibah Khalidah and Mr Azham Vosovic

Miss Farah and Mr Azham Vosovic

Happy fasting to all my friends in IPBA who are currently residing abroad, especially Jaazli, Abul, Aziz, Harris, Yazid, Sidqi and all. Please take a second to remember me while you guys are enjoying "Nasi Dagang", "Char Koay Teow" or many more delicious dishes that you can find there okay? Dear my friends all over Malaysia, I wish all of you the same thing, Happy Eid Mubarak.

To my lecturers in IPG KBA, especially Madam Yash...no worries because your students are going to ransack your house this year. Please cook for us and prepare some "duit raya" since most of us are not married yet.

A lot of thanks to my sponsor, the Ministry of Education for sending me here...it is such a great pleasure for me to return the favor and serve for the nation one day insyaallah.

To my family in Kepala Batas Penang, I could not say nothing more...thank you for stuffing me up with a lot of food this semester break. I would like to apologize for all of my mistakes...I know I have been such a terrible son and brother to my siblings. We hurt each other in our weird kind of way, but as I said...that is how we show our sincerest love.

I love all of u, Happy Eid Mubarak.

From LA, with love,

Mr Azham Vosovic

Crazy Creativity

Image taken from: here

Dear bloggers, you know you have typed too much when your pets did not get enough attention from you. We may not realize this because we are too busy scrolling down the dashboard, commenting on other people's blog and leaving our links on somebody else's chat box. Well... what's up with the rhyme?

Blogging has been a part of my life, it is my life indeed and I promise that I will not let my imaginary cat live its life on its own. Yes people, I have a cat that you have to imagine to believe. Few months ago, somebody accidentally sat on it and it died but now, I have my Kitty Vosovic back. You know how I got it back? It lies inside the power of imagination; you believe what you see. Call me crazy, I do not mind because it is a creativity ;)

The Bachelor

Many people asked about my current status; am I attached to someone or still single? Well...I think I have the saddest love relationship so far because I have no one to text "goodbye" at night. My roommate in college is attached to our classmates, and most of them are already someone else's belongings. Some of them also have scandals all around which I think is not fair because I am still single and available.

The longest relationship I had so far is with my pillow and a bolster; I have had them since I was a kid. Truthfully speaking, they are still here on my bed at my parents' house and they are the most loyal bed mates I have ever had.

I never had a relationship with human beings that can last for more than 3 months. The shortest period was one day and it was a seriously fake love affair. I asked a friend of mine to pretend to be my girl friend just for a day and it was not fun at all.

Maybe I am not the kind of boy who can fall in love with humans so what should I do? I am reaching 20 years old this December, single and the eldest amongst my siblings so the probability for me to be an "AnTerTua" (Anak Teruna Tua) is high!

I know that I am paranoid but look at me; I am blogging from this side of room all alone, alone! Gosh, maybe my followers can help to match me up with someone? Oh my God, this is so desperate! Pair me up with someone tall, has a long hair, who laughs at my joke and never care about my past. Tell her that I am awkward, just accept me the way I am.

Just a thought

This is just a random thought, not related to anybody.

How does it feel to post indirect notes and then the person you aim at read it with such disgust? Do you realize that it hurts the same as when you literally stop talking?

I know you said that you don't give an F anymore but does it tell by your reactions? Haha, I love the way that you lie though, because you make it like the problems never happen. And please stop faking the smiles because that is cheating; you don't know what I feel when I saw them.

Maybe this is not the right way to ask someone to change? I don't know, it is just a thought.

Stay Strong

Back in my secondary school, there was a junior of mine that was involved in the spread of pornographic videos and pictures of herself and her few other male friends. It was a something*some (I am not too sure of the number of people in the video because I did not REALLY watch it), you know what I mean right? Yes, those kids make love, they got high and they recorded it.

That girl was a Form 3 students and her future was blown apart when her male friends transferred the video to the whole school. My friends from other schools also knew about it and she did not attend school for a week. When she came back, her class mates ignored her completely, because for them a girl who studied in a "kelas aliran agama" should never do that kind of stupid thing. Then I heard that she had been expelled from the school, but some said she asked to move out of the school due to the public humiliation.

Then, the video became a hit in the internet and the people in my town were talking about the school girl. And what irks me so much is that they blame the girl ONLY, and not the other boys as well. To my acknowledge, some of the boys still studied in the school like nothing had happened. Look at how the society easily points their fingers to that poor girl.

What I am trying to say here is that, we sometimes do not realize that we blame the wrong person, or maybe we did not look back at our mistakes. Yes, they had sex and got it taped but why do WE watch it? And why do WE blame the girl without even considering about her family's feeling?

Think about it this way; what if it happens to our family one day? To my readers, if you come across this kind of incident one day, please do not bully the do-er or the victim by watching, spreading or uploading such a video on the internet. Everybody makes mistakes, and we learn better that way. To the victim/do-er, just stay strong and please do not commit suicide. Let bygones be bygones, and stay strong!

P/S: I know I am in no position to talk about this, but I write it based on humanity.

HateMail 1:

Dear LoveHate blogger, you are fat like my mother's cow on the field and you are not popular.

My answer: Thank you so much Anonymous but I don't care to care about your sarcasm because I am unique. No one can be me, the same as I cannot be someone else even though I tried. Thank you for at least commenting on this unpopular LoveHate blog ;)

Okay, I lied because I am not so strong as this person being mentioned. I will not reply to such hatred in a great manner; I will make sure the haters cry as much as I do.

I just want to say that people from the new media (bloggers) like us should take extra care in our opinion; be it in written or comment form. I used to put a strong hatred in my writing but I totally regret doing it. There is no point making other people sad when they read our blog. Well, putting other people down will definitely never make you any popular, think about it.

Let us spread LOVE.

5 Fricking Years

My parents and I went shopping at Pekan Rabu, Alor Star this afternoon. Well, we don't think that we manage to prepare "kuih  siput" and cakes like we always do every year so we just buy all that we could. My parents are so busy at work and I don't know how to make cakes, but I copied a "kek batik" recipe from Diba. And this will be the fifth year that our family cannot go back to our hometown, Kelantan Darul Naim.

Moral of the story is, do not work with Royal Malaysian Police Force like my parents, because their "cuti asyik dibekukan je!!!". I know that they are duty-bounded but please consider their holidays as well. It has been a 5 fricking years you know, can you imagine?

And when the DJ is playing a "Hari Raya" song on the radio, I just don't care anymore. I seriously miss my grandma's "nasi dagang", and my uncle will prepare satay and "nasi himpit" on the first day of Syawal. Oh my God, I am going to miss all of that again this year.

Somber Internet

They asked, "Where have you been?" when my blogging career has just started to begin. So sadly I have to admit, that my internet connection sucks at this time. It crawls and crawls and crawls because it is nearly the end of the month; this is Malaysia's best broadband coverage and I am tired to deal with it every month.

So I cannot go blog-walking as I wish and sometimes I can't even log into my blogger account. What a somber life I had right now; I have so many things to share but the internet is not letting me do things as I wish. Gosh, can't wait to pay my bills and get my blogging life again.

P/S: Dear readers, I hope this will explain why I did not go to your site like I always do. I will do it as soon as I can okay, no worries.

Have You Heard?

So far, I have heard:

* I don't love you- It happened when I was in Standard 3, had this huge crush over my classmate who her parents happened to be my parents' friends. We spend a night at a local funfair, on a Ferris Wheel and the next day I told her that I love her; and that was what I got.

* You're diagnosed with anemia and leptospirosis and you're going to die- The first time I was warded in the hospital and it sucks with no internet connection for a week. And the doctor kept on telling me "Oh your liver is partially damaged" but she was kind of "okay" to say that, no regret. Gosh, please no more hospitals after this, I just want to live my life healthily.

* Your grandma is dead- My mother called me last year when it was in the midst of Ramadan, the seventh day actually. I knew my grandma was sick but I couldn't find the time to go back to Kedah and visit her, and then it was already too late; didn't have the chance to talk to her when she was still breathing.

How about all of you guys and girls?

To Grow Up Faster

Do you realize that there are inclination of kids joining the music or film industry throughout the world? Most of the parents in the world also love to dress up their children to imitate teenage or adults celebrities nowadays, like in the picture above. However, the kids who naively wear that kind of attire never know that one day they will feel that they don't really enjoy their childhood.

This phenomenon happens when parents want their kids to grow up faster, and that is when these kids get this kind of effect. I must say that the parents need to slow down and let their kids enjoy their childhood because time is not reversible. Give them education, let them study about religion so that one day they will not blame you for making them so popular without any content. Sorry but it happens to some celebrities nowadays...

Crossing the road

When I cross the road, I don't look both-ways; I just walk.
When a car comes, I said to myself, "You have brakes; you hit me then I will get the money".

Nightmare on Vosovic's Bed

:Based on a true story:

Have you ever had a dream so vivid, that you thought it was happening but the fact is it was just a dream? I had one experience this morning, when I religiously went back to sleep after Subuh like always.

I was sleeping, on my bed, as usual but suddenly, there was a big black and yellow snake on my bed. I laid still because any movement caused will make it sting the venom. I pretended to be dead, and I can hardly breath when the snake curled around my chest. Its head was really close to my neck and I know that I could die at any second.

Image taken from black and yellow

It was this snake, I could still remember the flashy scales and the wet and twisted tongue. I don't remember what happened after that but I held its head when it was not watching. I flung it away and ran to tell my parents.

In that dream, I was crying because the snake actually manage to bite me, and I cried even more when I saw my swollen nose from the reflection in the mirror. I don't know when was the time the snake bit me but my nose turned black and my father was about to send me to the hospital when I heard my mother's shouting at the back of our house. She was bitten by the snake at her neck and I regret it so much for not killing it when I had the chance.

My dream ended just like that, and I woke up to find out that I was crying too in reality. I cried, because that dream was so clear and I could feel the snake around me, seriously. And I cried a bit more moments after that because it was my mother who was bitten in the dream, not anyone else.

To all readers, do you know what is the signs when we dream about snakes or deadly creatures? I have had these bad dreams since early this year; I dreamt about babies and kids wanting to follow me back home, and this morning it was a creepy snake. Is the dream trying to tell me something?

What happens to Best Friend Forever?

This is just a creative writing, don't get me wrong okay?

Why are some people so judgmental? I mean, this is the package I am born with, like I am happy with that? I know, the message about sexuality will finally come right up to my face and I will always be blamed. And then seconds after that, friends will start to drift away...so cliche! And then I ask myself, "what happens to BEST FRIEND FOREVER?". Is friendship finally sinking?

I tried to get back to you but I guess I have to lead this lesbian life alone. Oh yes, my life is so lesbian because I have many girlfriends who apply more make-ups than any girl would do.

P/S: If you don't understand the hidden meaning, it means that I manage to hide the true story behind this story. Confusing right? Chill out, some things are not meant to be easily traced.

#Wordless Wednesday: Fever and Flu

University of Malaya Medical Centre.

Why Vosovic?

Daniel Vosovic's picture, taken from theblayreport.com

Many people asked me, why Azham Vosovic? Is the name that my parents give me not suitable enough? Well, it all started with my fetish to Russian names like Milla Jovovich (pronounced as mee-luh yo-vo-vitch) when I was in secondary school. For me, Russian names sounds sexier, and I wanted to have one even though I have no Russian traits in my blood.

Then I watched the first season of Project Runway, and I saw this guy with a very sexy name, Daniel Vosovic. His designs are fresh, it shows his confidence, and he even won the All-Star Challenge of Project Runway though he did not win the tittle in Season 1.

That is a brief history of how I become Russianized until right now. Some said that I should find my own identity but I don't feel anything wrong with this name as it does not affect any of my personality. In fact, not many Malaysians know him right?

As for me, I just want to get the spirit of this fashion designer. It is not easy to do something which is out of the norm, like when a man gets involved in fashion. I just want to run across the stereotype of humankind, and do something extraordinary. Well, life will be so dull if you just follow only one rule so please try to cheat on it.

Image taken from: Daniel Vosovic's interview

To my Russian brother Daniel Vosovic, I hope that you don't mind me getting into your family tree? All the best in your life, and I hope that one day we can meet up. I will see you in New York when I get there okay? Really looking forward to wearing your designs.

all he knows

Never in his life he begs for too much,
On that prayer mat, he blurts out everything.
There's only one that can hear and
He hopes that he will consider it.

Never thought he's tested to this extent,
And all he can do is to swallow them.
All he knows he's broken nobody could fix it,
But he's lucky enough that He remembers him.

Tiny and Mean

Used this picture for my Facebook profile picture few years back and Rizal said that I represented the IlluminaTEA or FreeMAKSOM society...I mean, what the heck is wrong? Hahaha, maybe he saw only one eye there and as for me, I am a Muslim and trying hard to prove it. By the way, Rizal is mean though he is tiny heheheh.

P/S: Don't get me wrong okay, I am not recruiting bloggers to join any of the group.

Ugly Duckling

The awkward moment when somebody calls your celebrity crush "ugly". Please don't try this at home because we are Malaysians, and Malaysians are mostly courteous.

Adapted from a post taken from:

Bore me to death

Please practice what you preach, because all you have been talking about does not reflect on your personality. I am sorry but truth hurts, and you really bore me to death; even when I died I know that you still bore me.

*No worries, I am not mad at anyone. It just came out of my mind last night.

He knows best

To those people who wish that I should just die, I hope that this will bring such good news to you. This is so far the collection of hospital registration number from June to August; but I better remind you that I deserve to live for another fifty years too, if Allah wills it. And what more is coming for me...I will never know. He knows best, He knows best.
